Web publishing

Web publishing:

Web publishing means hosting a website or publishing a website over the  internet. Some of the examples of web publishing are www.tsgi.in, www.facebook.com, etc.

Web Publishing requires support for  web hosting and domain name registration. There are many companies available for these purposes in the market. Some of them are, GoDaddy, BlueHost, HostGator, etc.

I am taking example of GoDaddy to understand the web publishing here.

Some basic steps for web publishing are:

  1. Log in to GoDaddy account.
  2. Click Web hosting.
  3. Than click Manage.
  4. Than click File Manager.
  5. Than click on Upload.
  6. Select to add File or add Folder.
  7. Click upload.
  8. Than add domain
  9. Configure domain DNS
  10. After some time it will gets published
Working of Web publishing is mentioned below:

1. Log in to GoDaddy account

Go to company website. Here I am going to https://sso.godaddy.com/

2. Click Web hosting

3. Than click Manage


4. Than click Plex Admin.



5. Than click File Manager


6. Than click on Upload

7. Select to add File or add Folder

8. Click open



9. Click Websites & Domain

10. Click on option to add domain or subdomain




11. Fill this form to add new domain.

12. Now go to domain section of GoDaddy account, click domains.




13. Click on DNS of Domain needed


14. Do necessary configuration

15. Within 48 hours website will get published
